Sandner - EXA, axial extensometers

Mainly used in static and fatigue testing machines for strain measurements.

This extensometer was specially developed for testing new materials such as CFRP, ceramics, etc. and for determining the properties of organic materials.
It is characterised by its very low weight, high natural frequency and high accuracy. This allows dynamic fatigue strength tests to be carried out on very small test specimens without any problems.
The supplied springs ensure quick and secure attachment to the sample. The standard 60° knife edges can be replaced in just a few minutes if they are worn. Knife edges with other angles and supports and/or in other materials are available on special request.
The EXA extensometers are supplied as standard:
- Extensometer in storage case with 500 mm cable and Lemosa plug.
- Fixing springs for round and flat samples from 1-18 mm
- Screwdriver
- Nylon string
- Locking pin or gauge block
- Data sheet with all transducer-specific data, such as hysteresis, measurement error and sensitivity.
