Torque transducer static

Interfaceforce offers a wide range of torque transducers for non-rotating applications.

Whether with high torsional rigidity, as a special version or x-fold overload protection or in combination with Fz Kraft (Tension & Torsion). An analogue, non-amplified strain gauge bridge output signal in mV/V is supplied as standard from all torque sensors, with an additional internal measuring amplifier on request. This also goes as far as a digital signal, for example via the familiar USB interface. Another product in our range is the AxialTQ digital rotary measuring flange models.

Torque measurements can be divided into so-called “pure” torques and torques that are superimposed with shear forces or bending moments. Another important difference is whether the torques are static or dynamic, whereby dynamic means rapidly changing torques over time.

The 5400 series torque transducers are suitable for precise measurement in non-rotating applications. In addition to a wide range of industrial applications in test benches, the focus is on applications in the automotive and aircraft industries, for example.

  • Measuring ranges from ±110 N-m to ±55 kN-m
  • High torsional rigidity
  • Short measuring path
  • Compact design

The torque sensors of the 5330 series are suitable for precise measurement in non-rotating applications where a through-hole (e.g. for a shaft) is required. In addition to industrial applications in test benches, the versatile applications include the automotive and aerospace industries. The wear-free torque sensors provide an analogue strain gauge bridge output signal in mV/V.

  • Measuring ranges: from 6.78 N-m to 11.3 kN-m
  • Large through hole
  • Non-linearity: 0.1%
  • Material: Stainless steel or aluminium

The torque sensors of the MRT2 and MRTP series (P=protected / overload-protected) are suitable for precise, reactive torque measurements where a compact design and a high level of overload protection are of great importance, especially for small measuring ranges. In addition to industrial applications, the versatile applications also include test benches. The wear-free torque sensors provide an analogue strain gauge bridge output signal in mV/V.

  • Compact design [small size]
  • Temperature-compensated strain gauges from our own production
  • Measuring ranges from ±0.2 N-m to ±50 N-m (nominal load)
  • Low linearity deviation: ±0.1%f.s.
  • Short measuring path

The torque sensors in the MRTP series are mechanically protected against overload and are suitable for precise, reactive torque measurements where compact designs are paramount. In addition to industrial applications and automation technology, the versatile applications also include small test benches. The wear-free torque sensors provide an analogue strain gauge bridge output signal in mV/V.

  • Particularly small design [small size]
  • 7-fold overload protection
  • Measuring range: ±0.2 N-m (nominal load)
  • Low linearity deviation: ±0.1%f.s.
  • Short measuring path
  • Temperature-compensated strain gauges from our own production
