Typical Inova cylinders are double-acting and are best suited for dynamic material and component testing. The system pressure is 280 bar. The actuators reach their rated load at 250 bar.

Standard types of hydraulic cylinders:

AH are double-acting linear cylinders that are best suited for dynamic material and component testing. The cylinders are equipped with hydrostatic bearings and operate friction-free and without hysteresis up to their rated load. The cylinders have an integrated displacement transducer for measuring the piston rod position.
- The AS series are hydrostatic, double-acting linear cylinders that are best suited for dynamic material and component testing. The cylinders are equipped with hydrostatic bearings and operate friction-free and without hysteresis up to their rated load. The cylinders have an integrated displacement transducer for measuring the piston rod position.
The mechanical interfaces (lower flange, upper flange, piston rod, etc.) of the AS series linear actuators are 100% compatible with the Schenck / IST PL series cylinders - The AG series are plain bearing, double-acting linear cylinders that are best suited for dynamic material and component testing at high piston speeds. The special plain bearings ensure low-friction operation up to the nominal load of the cylinders. The cylinders have an integrated displacement transducer for measuring the piston rod position.
- The AT series cylinders are used for the torsional loading of test specimens. Torsion cylinders have two wings with a limited angle of movement. The design of the cylinders is optimised for high speeds and load frequencies. The cylinders can be used with high radial and axial loads on their shafts.
