Non-contact laser strain gauges – Model LE-05
These extensometers are high-precision, non-contact devices for strain measurement in materials testing. They use a high-speed laser scanner to measure the distances between the reflective strips on the sample. The measuring range of the LE-05 is between 8 and 127 mm (0.3 and 5 inches). The measuring length is determined by the user. This enables high strain measurements when shorter measuring lengths are used.
