TeMeCo -Accreditation
We have made accreditation in accordance with ISO 17025 our goal.
TeMeCo Services AG and its predecessor Schenck Schweiz AG have been carrying out calibrations on materials testing machines conscientiously and competently for as long as this standard has existed.
Since 23 June 2025, the time has come:
TeMeCo is an accredited calibration laboratory with the number SCS 0178.
Background
As part of our long-standing after-sales service for universal and fatigue testing machines and other laboratory equipment, we regularly carry out maintenance and calibrations. We carefully document the method used, the reference measuring equipment used and the measurement data and uncertainties.
Our customers are increasingly emphasising that these services are audited by external bodies or that we are accredited in accordance with ISO 17025. Despite the effort involved, we have decided to fulfil these wishes.
The goal
Our goal at TeMeCo Services AG is to achieve ISO 17025 accreditation for calibrations in the field of material and component testing and other laboratory equipment. In this way, we want to meet the increasing demand from our customers for proof of competence through accreditation.
The way
The preparatory work on the handbook is already well advanced, so that the application for accreditation has been officially submitted. We will keep you up to date on the next steps here.
The progress
The process is already well advanced and we have defined the following measurement parameters for the calibration laboratory, for which we would like to be accredited:
Tensile and compressive force 0.1N … 250kN, compressive force 200kN … 2000kN
Torque 0.25Nm … 200Nm
Length (extensometer / crosshead travel, displacement transducer and measuring probe) 0.01mm … 150mm
Angle of rotation 0.1° … 180°
The certification audit took place in March 2025 and the measures were completed. On 23 June 2025, the certification body officially accredited us as a calibration body.
