The Shimadzu Tokyo Innovation Plaza is a modern research and development centre of the Shimadzu Corporation in Tokyo, Japan. It serves as a platform for the development of new technologies and solutions in fields such as analytics, medicine, environmental science and industrial metrology. The centre promotes collaboration between industry, academic institutions and Shimadzu Corporation to develop innovative solutions for various societal challenges.
Equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories and demonstration rooms, the Innovation Plaza enables customers, partners and researchers to directly experience Shimadzu products and integrate them into their research processes. The centre supports Shimadzu’s goal of continuously developing advanced technologies that contribute to a more sustainable and healthier society.
The Shimadzu Tokyo Innovation Plaza also offers state-of-the-art testing machines such as the AGX-V universal testing machine, which impresses with its high precision and versatility in materials testing – a 600kN machine that can be seen in the picture behind TeMeCo Managing Director Michael Popov and Shimadzu Product Manager Ryo Yamamoto.
