EZ-X materials testing machine
The EZ-X offers the best performance at the most attractive price. A wide range of loadcells enables accurate and reproducible measurements.
The frame is equipped with an integrated controller that enables measurements to be taken at the touch of a button, even without software.
These testing machines are available in two versions:
- EZ-SX (short) with load cells from 1N to 500N nominal load and maximum crosshead travel 500mm
- EZ-LX (long) with load cells from 1N to 5kN nominal load and maximum crosshead travel 920mm.
This model is also available in a high-speed version with a maximum test speed of 2000mm/min.
Features of the EZ-X materials testing machine :
Tensile, compression and flexure tests can be carried out as well as shear, peel, mastication or penetration tests. The EZ-Test can be operated as a stand-alone model or PC-controlled with the latest Trapezium-X software technology.

Software TrapeziumX-V
TrapeziumX-V is a comprehensive and user-friendly software that covers various testing requirements. The following modules are available:
- ‘Single’: For testing in one direction of movement with four freely definable segments
- ‘Cycle’: Supports cyclical tests with ramps and hold times comprising up to 1000 repetitions.
- ‘Control’: Enables charge, hold and discharge sequences, and supports up to 1000 repetitions.
- ‘Texture’: Specifically for tests on solid or viscous materials such as foodstuffs, resins, gels, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics.
- ‘Spring’: Suitable for spring tests with hysteresis preload.
All modules offer comprehensive options for the flexible design and customisation of test methods. They not only allow you to carry out and analyse tests, but also to create detailed test reports and export all data, including raw data.
LabSolutions
LabSolutions is a versatile software that was originally developed for analysing and managing data in instrumental analysis and has been specially extended for materials testing machines.
Shimadzu LabSolutions supports compliance with regulations and guidelines, especially in pharmaceutical and medical applications.
The software ensures secure data management by automatically integrating test conditions and data logs into the test reports.

LabSolutions CS: Server-based management of test data together with the data from the devices connected to the system.
