Göttfert - Online rheometers
A GÖTTFERT online rheometer provides continuous measurement data of polymer melts in order to make statements about material properties and processability. Whether with or without melt recirculation, GÖTTFERT rheometers are very compact and can be easily integrated into the customer’s process.
Significant cost savings can be achieved with online rheometers. Be it through the automation of processes and the resulting savings in personnel costs or through better process control during material changes, which leads to a minimisation of inferior intermediate products.
Models
MBR / MBR-TD (rheometer without melt recirculation into the process):
- Particularly suitable for small batches and frequently changing products
- Small internal volume to reduce the dwell time
- Venting valve for quick product changes
- Optionally available for measuring the melt tensile strength (RHEOTENS)
- For degradable materials that should not be returned to the process
- Quick adjustment of the measuring range by simply changing the capillary
- Simple installation, only one drill hole required
- Single or multi-channel system available
SSR (rheometer with melt recirculation):
- No material loss
- Various capillary lengths of up to 92 mm
- Simple installation, only one drill hole required
- Any installation position
- Cost-effective online rheometer with melt recirculation
- Very compact design
RTR / RTS-TD (rheometer like SSR with melt recirculation, plus the following advantages):
- Live measurement data due to minimal response time
- Very short response time due to the circulating current even at low MFR/MVR
- RTS-TD with two capillaries: very large MFR/viscosity measuring range; direct measurement of the flow exponent
- Particularly suitable for production monitoring and control
- RTS-TD: Prepared for the installation of IR/UV measuring sensors
- Optional add-on: measurement of extensional viscosity
