Battery-powered cleaning tool
With the electric or pneumatic cleaning devices from GÖTTFERT, cleaning the test channel is quicker and easier, especially with hard and sticky test materials.
Hinged part with steel or brass brush for rough pre-cleaning of the test duct.
Hinged part with twist in brass design, for cleaning the test channel with the cleaning tape or the blanks.
Cleaning tape / blanks
Cleaning tape: Material: cotton, width 50 mm, length approx. 50 m
Cleaning tape (natural), recommended for all melt index testers for cleaning common polymers: Material: 100 % cotton, natural, on roll, rough surface structure, width 50 mm, length approx. 100 m.
Cleaning tape cuttings, material: linen, dimensions: 7 x 7 cm
Filling and tamping tools
Filling tool for standard material and for low-viscosity materials. For more convenient filling of the test channel with the sample material.
Aluminium or PTFE funnel, capillary seal (for low-viscosity material), stopper.
Hand cleaning tool
Round brushes made of steel or brass for drain cleaning, tamping tool, awl and brass hand brushes for cleaning the dies.
Reference material
Reference material PE granulate for checking and confirming the correct recording of measured values.
The scope of delivery includes the specification for both melt index testers and high-pressure capillary rheometers.

Rheological testing equipment since 1962
GÖTTFERT Werkstoff-Prüfmaschinen GmbH was founded in 1962 by Prof. Dr. Otto Göttfert. In the second generation, his son Dr Axel Göttfert took over as sole managing director.
On the world market, the medium-sized company is known as one of the leading companies in the niche area of rheological testing equipment. The innovative rheological systems are used worldwide in laboratories as well as in production.
To be closer to many customers, a subsidiary was opened in Rock Hill, South Carolina, USA, in 1989. In 2011, GOETTFERT (China) Limited was founded with headquarters in Beijing and Shanghai.
