The new actuator from StepLab generates three times the force of an EA05 with the same size and 25kN nominal load.

Advantages

This electromechanical servo test actuator is already the ideal choice for fatigue and dynamic tests. It has now been further improved and offers many advantages such as

  • Ratio of size to force
    The new EAxx servo test cylinder retains the size of the EA05, but delivers a dynamic force of +/-25 kN instead of +/-7.5 kN.
  • Frequency and weight
    With an improved frequency of up to 40 Hz, the new actuator remains lightweight at just 40 kg.
  • Efficiency
    The EA series is energy efficient and offers better performance with lower power consumption.
  • Reliability
    The EA series is built to last, ensuring reliable testing over billions of cycles, even under the harshest conditions.

The new test actuator will be released in 2025. Stay tuned for the actual unveiling.
